Wow this is almost half a week late .. I apologize again I’ve been so slow with my reviews lately .. things have been crazy.

Anyways, the 4th episode of the Sacred Blacksmith series entitled “Promise” brings the action inside of the third independant trade city. Hannibal is planning on luring the man in black out by showcasing Aria the “demon sword” at a special swords market. By bringing Aria out into the public, he knows the villain won’t be able to resist. Cecily receives the special mission of protecting Aria, and will show her off at the market place show. She promises Aria that she will protect her, but even she seems to know it’s an empty promise.

Hannibal was right on the money as Cecily and Aria take to the stage, the old beserker dude (who is alliance with the hooded man in black) turns into a monster and attacks. He knocks the sword out of Cecily’s grasp right away (surprise surprise) and starts creating chaos in town. Many knights die as they try to stop him .. and things don’t look good. The hooded man in black watches from a distance and seems to know Hannibal.

Cecily forces her weakness on Luke AGAIN, and talks him into fighting the monster. Luke and Lisa forge another special Katana, and Luke somehow knows that the Katana will be able to strike the flaming monster 3 times before it breaks. Cecily is given the task of landing the fatal blow to finish the monster off. Luke pulls some cool moves and strips the flame off of the monster, making it drop Aria creating a window for Cecily .. she doesn’t hesitate (but does strike a pose and utter a short speech) and runs to grab Aria. As soon as she holds Aria she sends forth the powerful swords wind attack at the monster, and runs her blade through it’s huge glowing heart. Woo hoo Cecily finally made her first kill .. it can only get better from here. We also find that Luke is trying to find a “god slayer” sword in order to kill someone as he tells Lisa that if he had 100 swords like Aria he might be able to kill “him”. Could it be the hooded man in black?

She now owes Luke big time and it’s easy to see that she likes him, and Luke’s not the only one she’s after. She tells Aria that she is not for killing people, but for protecting people and that she will be her new owner. Aria is overjoyed and agree’s and this seems to be the beginning of a great relationship .. especially for Luke as Cecily and Aria are sort of a 2 for 1 deal …. yeah … lucky Luke.
