Shana has finally returned to the TV screen! The long awaited Shakugan No Shana S has started. It was announced that a new season was going to start. Then it was revealed that they were going to a “Shakugan No Shana S” four-episode OVA before the third season. The first episode from this is called Reshuffle and it’s about Shana and Yuuji switching bodies because of a strange Friagne’s treasure device. It was interesting to see the reversal of roles and how if Yuuji acted like this all the time, he would seem like an abusive guy. It’s interesting that since Shana is a girl, the same actions towards Yuuji almost seems almost harmless. I’m glad to see that Kazumi is slowly pushed to the side and out of the ShanaXYuuji relationship. Good moment with Yuuji in Shana’s body, in order to get away from Wilhelmina, Shana (which is actually Yuuji talking) tells her that she loves her. It’s nice that in the end credits, Shana (as herself) goes back to her place where she lives with Wilhelmina and she’s waiting for her at the table with melonpans. Also Alastor tells Shana the reason why they were able to switch bodies/personalities is because there is no wall before them emotionally. The fact that Shana (in Yuuji’s body) tries to kiss Yuuji (in Shana’s body) also proves that they’re very close and that they both like each other. Shana tries to deny this as usual but the fact that this phenomenon happened, there’s no denying it.
I may or may not review this series at Current Anime. I just wanted to post all pictures from the episode and here is the best way to post them. The remainder will be posted on my personal blog on Turning Japanese if that is the case.

Yeah I don’t like Kazumi either. I still haven’t finished the second season for this reason. Why is Kazumi even a consideration!? Grr Always ShanaXYuuji

The second season of Shakugan no Shana was hard to get into because it started soo freaking slow .. but once it picks up it’s f***king awesome!
