The mysterious person from the previous episode is our main plot character this episode.  I’ve always thought she was a girl from the start (I guess that’s the point?) but Junpei and Kanako thought that she was a guy.  Anyways, Nagi, Kaede’s senior on the track team is not happy with Junpei because she witnessed Kaede become sad after talking to Junpei.  That morning Junpei walks into class and notices something in his desk while trying to stuff everything in there.  At first he thinks it’s a love letter but then after running to the bathroom and taking a deep breath, he finds out it’s some random letter for a fight to the death.  He has no idea what it is so he rips it up and flushes it down the toilet.  There’s a quick scene with Kaede and the girls on the track team wondering where she is, missing school for three days in a row.  That morning, Nagi comes running up the stairs and into Junpei’s class, PISSED.  She starts rambling about something and not meeting at some waterfront or something and he has no idea what’s going on.  Then she mentions the letter and finally clues in.  Nagi’s about to go full force when she recognizes Kanako and stops to tell her how beautiful she is.  Then she starts commenting on her chest size and also getting a feel for it.  Kanako loses it and punches her out.  Nagi then stands back up and tells him that they’re going to have a match with Kaede on the line.  She’s about to start the match when she all of a sudden faints.  At the moment, Kaede comes in asking if anyone’s seen Nagi, and there she is on the floor.  They (Kanako, Kaede and Junpei) end up taking Nagi home.  They knew of the area and all they could find is this… huge… house.  They look at the name and realize that Nagi is heir of a powerful yakuza family.  The family rushes to get her and help her in.  The crew comment about she has a “Ji” or an older man who is her dedicated bodyguard (pretty much).  They end up getting sucked into the house, not being able to refuse the yakuza’s nice gesture and Kaede and Kanako decide to take a bath (with Ji’s recommendation).  As Junpei is waiting for Ji to come back, the cat of the house shows up and starts talking to him.  Junpei is really confused because the cat is wearing a bow, is called Josephine, but is a male cat.  Anyways, Josephine tells Junpei to help Nagi fall in love again, to be a bit more feminine once again.  Just as he is telling Junpei this, Ji comes back and informs him that Nagi wants to “talk” to him.  He ends up in Nagi’s room, and she has a wood sword with her.  She’s about to attack him and that’s when Junpei opens his eyes and Nagi is stuck to him like glue.  He tries to push her away then after putting his hand in the chest area (which would be the usual place to push away someone, especially not thinking, if you the other person is a male!) and realizes that he (in Junpei’s mind) was actually a she all along.  Nagi’s all crying that’s she’s afraid of thunder because she’s seen Ji be stuck by lightening.  Then she puts on an eye mask and ear muffs and tries to fight Junpei again but she is faced in a completely different direction talking to an inanimate object.  Junpei has no idea what to do and he slips out that he thought that Nagi was a guy.  This makes Nagi lose it and starts throwing stuff at him.  Junpei realizes that he may have stepped on to forbidden territory and that’s when lightening strikes again and then she starts running for Junpei’s comfort but Junpei makes her go inside object that Nagi was originally facing.  While in it, Nagi tells Junpei to laugh at her weak point and tell everyone in the school so she would be the laughing stock of the school.  Junpei tells her that there’s nothing wrong with being afraid of things and that if she ever needed the comfort he’s always there for her, even if it isn’t much coming from him.  That moves Nagi’s heart and pretty much makes her fall for him.  I guess he solved Josephine’s problem.  The next day, Nagi decides to sit in all the classes Junpei is in, despite taking all of them the previous year (since she’s a year older than all of them).  Everything is extreme for Nagi (yare yare~)
