As Sawako and Kurumi prepare themselves to watch the boys play baseball, Kurumi tries to persuade Sawako to take a liking to Ryu. As the boys are about to start, Sawako seems like she completely ignored what Kurumi said and was just looking at Kazehaya. She assures Kurumi that that’s not the case but she confirms that they both wanted to see him play. Sawako mentions that she wants to see a side to Kazehaya that she hasn’t seen yet. Kurumi tells her that she is right, Sawako hasn’t seen sides to Kazehaya like she has. She has seen him through, rain, wind and snow. She completely slips out that she’s worked hard for girls like her to not date him but Sawako just takes it as she’s tried very hard over the years. She however tells her that by the time she noticed, she’s been thinking of Kazehaya all the time, even right before she goes to sleep. Sawako tells Kurumi that she’s going to talk to other guys like Ryu to see if her feelings are special towards Kazehaya. As she’s commenting on that and looking at Ryu, Kazehaya sees her from a distance, a part of him being worried. She persists Sawako that she see Ryu to thank him in private. Kurumi, never dealing with anyone like her, someone that would take her request head on, tells her that she’s going to do it her own way and leaves the crowd, not watch Kazehaya play. Sawako tells herself that what Kurumi is feeling is love but… Sawako starts to question what she feels for Kazehaya. She wonders if it’s just the fact of gratitude towards someone or if it’s something for special. As the game ends and her class wins, Tomo and the girls invite Sawako to go see Chizuru, Ayane and Ekko play volleyball. As the game ends, Kazehaya asks Ryu about Sawako. He starts by calling her “Sakako” and corrects himself to “Sawako”, but Kazehaya insists on calling her Kuronuma. Then Ryu asks “Kuranuma?”but correct him again, telling it’s “Kuro” then Ryu realizing it’s black in Japanese. Ryu tells Kazehaya that he likes her as a friend and not what he’s thinking. He then calls her “Kuroyama”, Kazehaya correcting him again. Ryu asks if it’s about catching the ball. He tells him that he just happened to be close and that’s why he caught it. Kazehaya understands but he still wishes he was the one who caught the ball. Meanwhile Pin all happy that his class has won the first two games, Kurumi walks in asking for the schedule for sports festival committee, obviously all happy and fake. This doesn’t affect Pin and just casually asks her what her name is. She says she can just look but Pin insists on just checking it. Kurumi then puts on a bit of a show and tells him that she doesn’t want him to do any extra work. This just completely puts off Pin and he pretty much just gives it away. As Kurumi confirms his whereabouts, Pin just tells her to go away after she’s done. Still putting on an act, she gives back the sheet and leaves the room. Pin is clueless as to all that excessive smiling. Ayane decides to grab drinks for herself and Chizuru before the game, and notice Kurumi stuffing something into Ryu’s shoe box. She goes to talk to her casually knowing everything that’s going on. Kurumi knows her name but Ayane isn’t surprised because of the rumours that circulated in the school. She asks if she helped spread it as well but denies it, that she only heard it in passing. She tells her that she didn’t believe in the rumours to begin with. Ayane, agreeing with her, says that you’ve got to be stupid to believe the rumours. She goes on to say that she believes it’s a girl who likes Kazehaya that felt that Sawako was in the way and having herself and Chizuru to back her up to be nuisance. She also believes that it has to be girl that both Kazehaya and Chizuru know from middle school since her rumours were whatever but Chizuru’s rumours were oddly blown out of proportion. She wonders what would happen if Kazehaya were to ever find out, pretty much pointing the finger at Kurumi. Kurumi however strikes back saying that she can’t accuse anyone with having any proof. She’s about to leave and Ayane puts in the last word, telling her that Sawako is tough, that she takes everything head on. After Ayane leaves, Kazehaya, Ryu and boys come by and Ryu tells everyone that he’s planning to eat then go take a nap. As he’s saying this, he notices the note in his shoe box. He’s not impressed but knowing how Sawako is he hesitantly decides to wait by the equipment room for her. After the game, the girls decide to get lunch. Sawako tells them that she has to go thank Ryu for saving her from getting hit in the face by a ball. She also tells them she wants to go confirm something. She doesn’t know what it is but when she does she asks them if she can come talk to them about it. Chizuru has no idea but Ayane says she will with arms wide open. As she heads towards where Ryu might be, Kurumi stops her to tell her that Ryu is waiting for her behind the equipment room. She heads there and sees Ryu. Ryu forgets her name again but remembers he’s got the note so he looks at that. Sawako is impressed that he knows her full name but then he shows her the note. She’s impressed that the note has exactly what she was thinking, which Ryu finds odd since he believes he got the note from her. She gives him a juice box for her gratitude but the conversation sort of ends there. Ryu asks if that’s it but Sawako tells him that she wanted to talk to him for a bit. He asks what and Sawako asks about the feeling of love, if he knows anything about it. He says he does, that he only loves Chizuru. He tells her to keep it a secret though. She tells him that she thinks that they would make a good couple. Meanwhile Kurumi is waiting for Kazehaya to come by. When he does, she offers to help but then he laughs and tells her that Sawako would probably say that this is her job, Kurumi starting to realize that make Kazehaya likes Sawako. She then asks about the rumours of rejecting Sawako after being asked out. He tells her that she never even asked him out, he doesn’t believe she likes him that way anyways. Kurumi then lies and tells him that she asked her if she wanted to date him and Sawako told her that she wouldn’t. She also tells him that she was just looking at Ryu earlier, but who can blame her if she was saved like that. She tells him if she likes him they should encourage them. As they’re talking, they pass by Ryu and Sawako talking, about how Ryu knew when he liked Chizuru but he responds to her that there doesn’t need to be a logical reason, that by the time he realized it, Chizuru was very special to him. Kazehaya and Kurumi witness them together and Kurumi tells Kazehaya to encourage them both but… it looks like he’s going to say something, which is something Kurumi did not expect. What’s going to happen next? I guess we have to wait until next week!
