Ryu tries one last time to tell Chizuru about Tohru but Ayane and Sawako show up.  She asks what it is but all Ryu tells her is to not show up at his place for the next two days.  Unaware of what happened, school finishes and the girls are all at Chizuru’s for a sleepover.  She wants to play games but she intended on going to Ryu’s place for that.  Ayane asks if she did anything to make him angry and Chizuru tells her that she kicked him out of her room recently because he almost saw the birthday gift.  Ayane figures that’s the reason he might be mad.  Ayane tells her that although he said she can’t come over the next two days, he didn’t say anything about right now.  So they all decide to head over to Ryu’s place so she can apologize to Ryu and also give him the present.  When they get there, they find out that the guys are having a party for Joe who recently got rejected.  As they have a joint party, Ryu heads down to get some cups and Chizuru follows him.  Chizuru asks him if he is mad at her and he tells her that he isn’t but he is hurt from being kicked out of her place so rudely.  She apologizes for that and tells her she had a reason for it.  She then tells him she now listen to what Ryu wanted to tell her.  As he’s about to tell her, the door opens and enters Tohru.  Chizuru is super excited and jumps to hug him.  Kazeahaya runs down to greet him as well.  Sawako and Ayane come down and Chizuru is about to introduce him when Tohru lets someone else in, Katayama Haruka, his fiancé.  Chizuru doesn’t know what to do and just greets her very politely, totally out of character for Chizuru.  Then Kazehaya breaks the ice by saying that everyone should be on their way since it’s not often that Tohru comes back, obviously sensing the awkwardness of the situation and knowing Chizuru liking Tohru.  Once everyone leaves, Ryu tells Kazehaya that he doesn’t want Chizuru to be depressed, he can handle her being mad because she can let her emotions out but when she’s quiet, he doesn’t know what to do.  Kazehaya tells him not to be depressed because of it.  Ryu doesn’t intend to but after being asked if he’s worried about Chizuru, he wonders if he’s ever been worried about her.  Kazehaya realizes that he’s always been worried about her and that Ryu probably likes Chizuru (we all know he does since Ryu told Sawako that he only loves Chizuru).  After Chizuru, Ayane and Sawako get to Chizuru’s place, they end up playing cards until late into the night and decide to go to bed.  Ayane asks Chizuru if she’s doing okay but all Chizuru responds with is that she never congratulated Tohru and that she should do that the next day.  The next morning, Sawako wakes up to Chizuru changing.  She wonders if she even went to sleep the night before.  Sawako watches as Chizuru decides to wear jeans over the mini skirt even though she was initially excited to wear it in front of Tohru.  The two leave and as they’re walking together, they realize that they couldn’t find any comforting words for Chizuru.  Chizuru heads to the Sanada residence but feels odd going in.  She tells herself that she’s like family but isn’t, she’s not even related.  She decides to leave without going in and comes to realize that her wish isn’t something she can grant herself.
