Akaishi decides to visit his own elementary school and Wakaba describing her Koshien dream. When Kou asks Aoba to teach him new breaking pitches, Kou tells her she can think of it as using his body to get to Koushien. Aoba mentions to Azuma that Junpei has asked Ichiyo to marry him. Azuma reminds her that if this happens, they will be brother/sister-in-laws. He then asks if in-laws are still allowed to marry then Mizuki comes out of nowhere and tells them that they can, as well as cousins and there’s a sort of standoff between them for just a second. As this is happening, Hiroko comes by and tells Kou that he has “present”. He heads over to where the coach and is given a bike with a tire dragging behind it, this is to build up leg muscles and endurance. Nakanishi comes by and tells him good luck but Hiroko tells him that he has one too, for losing weight. After winning the spring Koushien, reporters ask the Ryou coach what teams he is worried about for summer Koushien and he he denies knowing much about Seishuu even though he ends up correcting the reporters with the information. Aoba’s cast is removed and she starts training again. She starts jogging around town to start and runs past Kou and Akane’s place and sees Kou sweeping the front of the soba shop. After she makes her leave Akane asks Kou to model for her through their windows. Azuma catches them doing this and there’s a funny little dialogue going with Azuma asking Akane if he should take his pants off and after Akane tells him he doesn’t have to, Azuma says too bad. At the Tsukishima house, Seiji witnesses all her girls with guys realizing the truth that one day all of them will get married and move away from this house. As he’s thinking about this, Akane comes by wanting to work at Clover cafe. After practice, Kou, Azuma and Aoba decide to stop by the cafe before hitting a few balls at the batting centre. As they enter the cafe, Kou and Aoba are shocked at seeing Akane with the clover apron, as if they were looking at Wakaba. As they’re eating, Akane sees an ad for a flea market at another township, Aoba suggests Kou should accompany her. Next day Kou and Akane go to the flea market and Kou buys a shirt for Aoba, a thanks for teaching him new pitches. He tells Akane that she’s not going to like it because it’s not her style at all, but if so she will end up wearing it, making his poor taste as a topic of discussion. Akane starts talking to Kou that maybe it was destiny to move into the house beside his. She tells him that the first place they had, the owner decided at the last second against it. Then the second place (I think) caught on fire and the next one had a meteorite fell on it. Kou of course doesn’t believe it but Akane insists it’s true. Back at the batting centre, Aoba tells Azuma that she doesn’t regret not making the women’s national team because she’s busy with helping Seishuu reach Koushien, then quickly complains about how quicky Kou learns new pitches, that maybe she underestimated him. Kou and Akane are back from the flea market and Kou gives Aoba the shirt expecting a complaint. However, she just looks at it and thanks him. That night, Aoba gets a call from the coach of the women’s national team, telling her that they don’t have enough pitchers with fastballs and asks her if she can join their training camp.
