Just when Shinji Hiraku is about to cut Aizen to pieces, Tousen joins the fray slashing Shinji with his sword. As Tousen is about to deal a powerful blow, Captain Komamura deflects it! Everyone’s surprised to see this show of unity from a shinigami. Hitsugaya and Soi Fon are also shocked that Komamura is declaring to everyone in site that he’s on the vazaird’s side. They don’t exactly have a friendly history. But the vaizards tell them that they don’t need a reason to fight together against a common enemy. So the vaizards are now facing the remaining espada, definitely ready to kick some ass.

Komamura and Tousen face off, two friends who are now enemies, in a fight that will surely leave one or the other dead. Suddenly out of nowhere, someone stops the fight. It’s Tousen’s vice captain, Hisagi, demanding a piece of him. Next issue, former friends and teammates cross swords!
