One of my all-time personal favorites, Ookiku Furikabutte (Oofuri) or for the American release, Big Windup! has been green-lit for a second season. The second season, based on the Kodansha Award-winning manga by Asa Higuchi, should be airing in Spring of 2010, according to the wrap-around jackets on the latest tankouban of the manga.
The first season was picked up by Funimation, which released it in two sets over the last year. To watch some of the dubbed episodes, go here.
