As you may already know, the Naruto Shippuden series has been acquired by Disney XD.
New dubbed episodes of the series will premiere on Disney XD on Wednesday,
October 28 with four back-to-back episodes beginning at 8:30pm. The episodes
are as follows:
Homecoming: 8:30pm
A fearless teen trains to become a ninja while battling the demon who lives
inside of him. Sequel to “Naruto,” a popular anime series. In the opener, Naruto
returns to his home place after two-and-a-half years and receives his first
assignment.
The Akatsuki Makes Its Move: 9:00pm
Naruto and Sakura challenge Kakashi to a survival test to show off their skills.
The Results of Training: 9:30pm
Naruto’s years of training pay off in a battle with Kakashi.
The Jinchuriki of the Sand: 10:00pm
An aerial battle takes place between Deidara and Gaara; Kankuro assembles troops to fight Akatsuki.
I know a lot of people probably aren’t thrilled at Naruto being on Disney .. but it is one of those great shows that appeals and is suitable for all ages so I guess I can’t really get too uptight about it .. as long as they don’t make a live action with zac efron in the main cast :S
Anyways that’s just my opinion .. what does everyone else think?

I don’t watch Naruto so I guess I really can’t say much about it but I’ve always had problems with dubs. There are certain shows that don’t matter but Naruto seems like an anime (/manga) that if it is dubbed, some of the key elements of the show will be lost. I don’t konw, maybe I don’t like dubs in general and take the raws for granted since I understand Japanese.

I’m with you .. I can’t stand dubs .. I’m always arguing with my friend about “not being able to appreciate the art while watching subs” … I really don’t find it that hard tho?
