FUNimation Entertainment has acquired the rights to re-release the Trigun anime series on DVD and Blu-ray after many years of the series being inactive on the home entertainment front. Not much is known beyond the initial announcement from the studio, but the releases will definitely see the light of day.

One of my all-time personal favorites, Ookiku Furikabutte (Oofuri) or for the American release, Big Windup! has been green-lit for a second season. The second season, based on the Kodansha Award-winning manga by Asa Higuchi, should be airing in Spring of 2010, according to the wrap-around jackets on the latest tankouban of the manga.
