FUNimation Entertainment has acquired the rights to re-release the Trigun anime series on DVD and Blu-ray after many years of the series being inactive on the home entertainment front. One of my all-time personal favorites, Ookiku Furikabutte (Oofuri) or for the American release, Big Windup! has been green-lit for a second season. The second season, based on the Kodansha Award-winning manga by Asa Higuchi, should be airing in Spring of 2010, according to the wrap-around jackets on the latest tankouban of the manga.
